Wildly beaten by a gang outside a Warsaw nightclub.

It happened on the night between Friday and Saturday to a group of seven twenty-year-old friends, originally from Scandicci, in the province of Florence, and on vacation in the Polish capital.

A trip that they had been organizing for some time and to which they cared very much. But something went wrong on Friday night. It is not known what happened, so much so that the Polish police even hypothesize the mistaken identity.

THE BATTLE - According to a reconstruction, the gang crossed paths with young tourists who had just come out of a nightclub in the center and attacked them. The Poles hit both with kicks and punches and with weapons, such as noccoliere. They caused bone trauma, bleeding, injuries. On who has ended up on the ground they are furious more. An inexplicable violence, which is why local law enforcement may have mistaken them for others.

IN THE HOSPITAL - Three ended up in hospital for the injuries: one suffered a hemorrhage in the abdomen due to stomach kicks and was discharged after two days of observation; another risks losing an eye. While his friends returned to Italy, he remained in the hospital and was joined by the family who would like to have him operated on in Florence. Mayor Sandro Fallani activated the Italian authorities, the Italian embassy in Poland and the ASL Toscana Centro to organize repatriation by air transport and then hospitalization.

THE PREVIOUS - Niccolò Ciatti, the 22-year-old young man kicked and punched by three Chechens in a nightclub in Lloret de Mar in Spain in August 2017, was also from Scandicci.

“This fact strikes us and we are all available to help families, who are known and active in the city, and who have university students,” said Fallani.
