He admitted to killing his wife and was indicted for murder.

The body of the woman named Assia, 46, was found dismembered in Paris in the Buttes-Chaumont park about ten days ago. The husband's lawyer specified that his client had no intention of committing the crime, for now he is still under arrest.

The investigation had been opened on 17 February last, four days earlier some parts of the body had been found and subjected to analysis until the victim was identified, married and mother of three children, who had been missing since 31 January. Her husband had filed a complaint on February 6 at a police station in Seine-Saint-Denis, claiming he did not know what happened to Assia.
