A new meeting between Russia and Ukraine could be held in the Vatican in mid-June , according to the Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources.
According to the newspaper, the new summit will also be attended by a US delegation consisting of Secretary of State and acting National Security Advisor Marco Rubio and Presidential Envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has reportedly told European leaders that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not yet ready to end the war because he "believes he is winning." Again, the news comes from the Wall Street Journal, which cites three sources regarding the phone call Trump made on Monday with European leaders after his meeting with Putin.
