Explosion in the center of Paris, a building collapses: 29 injured and 2 missing

A violent explosion was recorded after 5pm in the fifth arrondissement of Paris.

The new balance of the prefecture of Paris speaks of 29 injured - of which 4 in serious condition - and at least 2 missing. Several buildings are on fire, one building has collapsed. According to initial information, the explosion was caused by a gas leak. At the moment the rescue machine is at work in the affected area and is being searched under the rubble.

However, the conditions would be almost prohibitive, with the flames extinguished but the constant risk of new explosions or collapses. Firefighters evacuated the area. Numerous injuries reported, some in serious condition.
