After Joe Biden's step back, the electoral campaign for the American presidential elections continues unabated. And the polls are pouring in: the latest, by Fox, gives Donald Trump and Kamala Harris neck and neck in the swing states.

According to the US broadcaster's survey, in Michigan and Pennsylvania the Republican candidate and the Democratic candidate, called to replace Biden after withdrawing from the race, are both at 49%.

The vice president in Minnesota has 52% of the vote, while the former president here is trailing at 46%. Slightly above Trump in Wisconsin, with 50% of the vote, compared to Harris' 49%.

The poll was conducted between July 22 and 24 and, Fox explained, would have a margin of error of three percentage points.
