With less than two weeks to go before the vote for the new US president, Donald Trump overtakes Kamala Harris at the national level in the latest Wall Street Journal poll, which also considers third-party and independent candidates. The percentages are 47% to 45% for the Republican candidate, while in August it was the Democratic candidate who had a 2-point advantage (which still remains within the margin of error).

The survey shows that voters have adopted a more positive view of the tycoon's program and past performances and a more negative view of the vice president.

According to another poll by realClearPolitics, the two candidates are still neck and neck in the seven swing states, with the tycoon ahead in all of them by an average of 0.9%, an advantage within the margin of error.
