U.S. Justice Department republishes Trump photo from Epstein files
"Checks were necessary to protect the victims." A backtracking following attacks from Democrats.

The U.S. Department of Justice backtracks. Following criticism from Democrats and Jeffrey Epstein's victims, the administration announced it had republished the previously removed photo of Donald Trump.
The image shows a desk drawer with several photographs, including one of Trump, Ghislaine Maxwell, and others. The photo was released on Friday and then disappeared from the site yesterday.
In a statement published on X, the Justice Department reiterated that the temporary removal was done to determine whether further censorship was necessary to protect victims.
