The world is waiting for Donald Trump to understand the direction of the Iran deal . The US president has locked himself in the White House Situation Room to "make a final decision," he writes in Truth.

The instructions, however, are clear. Iran "must commit to never acquiring nuclear weapons or bombs," the Strait of Hormuz "must be immediately reopened, without tolls, to allow unrestricted maritime traffic in both directions," and all mines "will be neutralized," with Tehran "completing the immediate removal and/or detonation" of any remaining ones.

The post also announced the lifting of the naval blockade of Hormuz : the blocked ships "will be able to begin the process of 'returning home'! Say hello to your wives, husbands, parents, and families from me: your favorite President!"

Regarding the nuclear dust "lying buried deep underground beneath virtually collapsed mountains, due to our powerful B-2 bomber attack 11 months ago," Trump explains, "it will be unearthed by the United States (which, as agreed, is the only country, along with China, with the technical capability to do so!), in close cooperation and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the International Atomic Energy Agency, and DESTROYED. There will be no exchange of money, until further notice."

Iran, however, is slowing down. Iran's semi-official Fars news agency cites informed sources as saying Trump's latest statement on the conditions for a potential deal with Iran is a "mixture of truth and lies." Specifically, the sources say Trump's assertion that Iranian enriched material has been destroyed is "fundamentally unfounded" and that the proposed preliminary agreement requires Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz without imposing any costs.

The sources add that Trump failed to mention other important provisions of the draft agreement, including the release of billions of dollars in Iranian assets and a full ceasefire in Lebanon. A senior Iranian source reported to Reuters that Tehran and Washington have reached a political understanding, although the agreement has not yet been finalized.

Meanwhile, Israel has intensified its bombing and expanded its ground operations on Lebanese territory, with troops who, as Netanyahu specified, "have crossed the Litani River and conquered the heights."
