Enraged by Moscow's decision to invade his country, a Ukrainian sailor tried to retaliate by sinking the yacht of his boss, a Russian tycoon.

It happened in Spain, in the Balearics, and now the man, after being arrested, has been placed on bail by the judge of Menorca.

According to what is learned from the Iberian media, the sailor worked for the owner of the yacht, the Russian oligarch Alexander Mijeev, CEO of Rosoboronexport, a state-owned arms company. Enraged by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and by the alleged use of weapons manufactured by his boss's company in the conflict, the man would have tried, as mentioned, to carry out his personal retaliation.

He would then board the yacht, the Lady Anastasia, and open some valves to try and sink it. The sailor then warned some of his colleagues, who tried to avoid the sinking.

After his arrest and subsequent release, the sailor announced his intention to return to his homeland, to enlist in the army engaged against the Russian invasion.
