Tragedy this morning in Ajaccio , Corsica, where a truck driver from Santa Teresa Gallura , 60 year old Enrico Caruso , lost his life in an accident at work.

Caruso, an employee of a company in Santa Teresa that deals with construction, was making a delivery of materials but during the unloading operations of the goods , for reasons being ascertained by the Gendarmerie, he was crushed by the truck which crashed. moved .

According to initial information, the man was operating a small crane with a control wire from the ground, positioned between the truck and a wall, to unload concrete platforms from the middle.

During the operation, however, the truck suddenly moved and there was no escape for Caruso . The emergency services were only able to confirm the man's death.
