A Florida woman has been charged with threatening a health insurance company by repeating the same words used by Luigi Mangione, the killer of Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthCare. Briana Boston is accused of saying "Deny, Delay, Depose": the words written in permanent marker on bullet casings by Mangione and often used by insurance companies to deny reimbursements to patients .

The threat was addressed to a representative of Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, with Boston also adding: "You are next." The woman was arrested and charged with threatening a mass shooting or terrorist act, and the judge set her bail at $100,000.

Boston described insurance companies as “evil” to police and explained that he used the killer’s words because “those are the words that are in the news at the moment.”
