The ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon has been rejected by Hezbollah, according to which "any acceptable understanding must begin with Israel's complete withdrawal from all Lebanese territory" .

Nothing can be done, therefore, as the Lebanese militias and the IDF continue to engage in cross-fire attacks. Yesterday, a UNIFIL soldier was killed , and overnight at least seven people died in Israeli attacks on the city of Tyre, in southern Lebanon . A raid near Jabal Amel Hospital left four dead and seven wounded, also causing minor damage to the medical facility. Another attack killed three people and wounded five others, including two children.

And this morning, Benjamin Netanyahu, during a cabinet meeting with government ministers, announced that he would not put the latest version of the ceasefire agreement to a vote until Hezbollah accepted its terms.

Ministers, criticizing the fragile ceasefire, called for it to be submitted to a cabinet vote. Netanyahu, however, refused to call a vote, telling ministers that "there is no agreement at the moment" because Hezbollah refused to accept its terms. "Hezbollah is opposed to it, so I will not make a decision."

The war in Lebanon, therefore, continues. And this also has repercussions on Iran and the entire world: because without a truce in Lebanon, Tehran is unwilling to reach an agreement with the United States to end the conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz .
