The house of Elnaz Rekabi, the athlete who competed without a hijab at the Seoul Championships was demolished

Elnaz Rekabi's family home in Iran has been demolished on the orders of government officials.

The athlete had competed without wearing a headscarf at the International Sport Climbing Federation's Asian Championships in Seoul. Cnn reports it.

Rekabi had entered the competition without a hijab just as anti-regime protests were spreading across Iran following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in the custody of the morality police because she did not wear the headscarf properly.
