Shooting on the medical university campus: "A woman killed, three injured"

Fear in Germany where a man opened fire on the Heidelberg medical university campus, specifically in the auditorium.

According to Bild, the attacker - it would be a university student - then committed suicide with the same weapon used to shoot people in the classroom, perhaps a rifle or a machine gun. Mannheim police tweeted that they were on site with several officers and rescuers.

According to various German media reports, a young woman was killed. Three wounded, whose conditions are unknown.

The motive of the killer is investigated: from the first information it is neither political nor religious.

The whole area has been armored. Heidelberg University is one of the most prestigious in Germany.
