Saudi raids against Houthis in Yemen: the new front worries the US

Saudi Arabian forces have carried out two airstrikes on Mocha airport in Yemen, according to Al-Masirah, a Houthi-affiliated network.
Yemeni rebels took control of the strategic port city yesterday: a new front in the Middle East that worries the United States, which is stepping up its support for Saudi Arabia while simultaneously seeking to avoid direct military involvement, Axios reports.
Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of the United States Central Command (CentCom), traveled to Saudi Arabia yesterday for urgent coordination meetings, according to two sources familiar with the matter. The Saudi Embassy in Washington and the White House, Barak Ravid added, declined to comment.
Yesterday, CNN also spoke of "100-200 US military advisers in Saudi Arabia against the Houthis," to provide real-time support on intelligence, target identification, and geospatial data.
