Russian "ghost" tanker drifts between Italy and Malta
The vessel “Arctic Metagaz” is without a crew after a drone attack

The unmanned Russian tanker “Arctic Metagaz,” loaded with 900 tons of diesel fuel and two tanks of liquefied gas, is adrift at sea between Italy and Malta.
According to reports, the vessel belongs to Moscow's so-called "shadow fleet" and was hit by drones.
At the moment there is no risk of pollution, but Italian Navy vessels, including a tugboat, remain close to the drifting wreck, ready to intervene in case of emergency.
A summit was held on the matter at Palazzo Chigi.
