Five people have died following a Russian attack launched today against Odessa's port infrastructure. This was stated by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmitry Pletenchuk.

The raid, conducted with drones, also caused injuries and occurred just as President Volodymyr Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis were present in the city.

“Investigations are underway and there appear to be all the circumstances for another war crime by the Russian Federation,” Pletenchuk highlighted.

Moscow, for its part, speaks of an attack conducted against a "military target", effectively excluding connections with the presence of the leader of Kiev in the port city on the Black Sea.

Condemnation for the incident by the European Union. The comment by EU Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni is also harsh: «Russian drones in Odessa against the motorcade of Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis. They were together to commemorate the victims of another Russian attack. Shame!”, his words.
