"There will be no delays in imposing tariffs on April 2." This was reiterated by Donald Trump, President of the United States, in an interview given to the American television network NBC during the Italian night. The tycoon also stressed that he is ready to negotiate only if the countries "are willing to give us something big, otherwise there is no room to negotiate."
"I don't care if foreign automakers raise prices because of tariffs. I hope they do, because if they do, people will buy American cars. We have plenty of them ," Trump later denied rumors that he had asked automakers' CEOs not to raise prices. "I never said that."
On the Greenland case , Trump appeared confident: " We will get it, 100% . There are chances that the United States will take it without military force, but nothing is excluded". He also has confidence in his National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz, who has been caught in the middle of a storm over the Chatgate scandal : "I don't fire anyone because of fake news and a witch hunt. I don't know what Signal is and I don't care. Chatgate? It's the only thing the media wants to talk about because they have nothing else", Trump added.
