Anti-Elon Musk stickers, for Tesla owners, against the Tesla boss.
The idea is from an American employee, who is trying to give a voice to those who, despite owning a car from the company owned by the richest man in the world, distance themselves from it, following Donald Trump's victory in the American elections and Musk's increasingly invasive support.
“I bought this before I knew Elon was crazy,” “Tesla Anti-Elon Club,” and “Shut Up Elon” are just some of the slogans on bumper stickers for sale on Amazon or Etsy. And sales continue to rise , with orders of 250 to 300 per day, especially after Musk’s involvement in the government team leading Doge, the new Department for Government Efficiency.
The creator is Matthew Hiller, an American fish tank worker by day, and sticker maker in his spare time for his brand Mad Puffer Stickers. It started almost as a game but today total sales have exceeded thousands of pieces. The original sticker with the words “I bought this before I knew Elon was crazy” is currently the fourth best-selling sticker on Amazon: for a while it was in first place, beating both Trump's and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris's.
