North Korea will continue to develop its arsenal to be ready for a "nuclear retaliation" in the event of aggression, Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui said in a meeting with her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.
Choe, quoted by Tass, denounced the current "threats" against her country, speaking of "nuclear attack plans" against Pyongyang drawn up by the US and South Korea.
North Korea stands "firmly with its Russian comrades" and has "no doubt" that Russia will win "a great victory" in Ukraine, the North Korean foreign minister added during the meeting with Lavrov.
The Russian Foreign Minister, for his part, explained that "very close contacts" have been established between the armed forces and security services of Russia and North Korea and this allows "to resolve significant and important problems for the security" of the two peoples.
