Millions of people watched the live broadcast of Queen Elizabeth 's Platinum Jubilee concert last night. At the concert in front of Buckingham Palace Andrea Bocelli sang "Nessun dorma", which was acclaimed by 22 thousand spectators.

It was the sovereign, who celebrates 70 years at the helm of the United Kingdom, who opened the event by appearing in a video together with the Paddington bear, the beloved character of English children's literature created by Michael Bond. The bear, in the clip, offers his signature jam sandwich, but the queen refuses, saying she has one ready in her black purse, just in case. Then a butler warns the monarch that everything is ready for the celebrations outside, while the crowd explodes in celebration. "Happy Jubilee, lady. And thank you. For everything," says the Paddington Bear. And His Majesty replies with a smile: "You are very kind".

Finally, the two use a silver teaspoon on their tea plates to beat the beat of the Queen song "We Will Rock You" which opened the concert.

During the evening, Prince Charles paid tribute to his mother: "She laughs and cries with us and, above all, she has been close to us in these 70 years", she said, adding that serving the citizens is what "makes my mom in the morning "and thanked her on behalf of the world.

An atmosphere of relaxation is what one breathes in these days of celebration among the royals, also demonstrated by the message published on social media by the dukes of Cambridge in which they wish the little Lilibet, the daughter of Meghan and Harry, who yesterday made a year and bears the nickname by which Queen Elizabeth was called. The second name, on the other hand, is Diana, in homage to Harry's mother.
