The Vatican Secretary of State, following the Russian drone strikes over Poland, said: "This is a moment of great danger." And regarding the Global Sumud Flotilla, he said: "Anything that can help Gaza is welcome."

"We are in a moment of great danger." Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin is certain of this, having admitted on the sidelines of a conference on the drone attack on Poland that "I believe so, that we are on the brink of an abyss, there is an escalation," echoing the words of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
"I repeat what I just said and I agree with this analysis: we are truly in a moment of great danger," he added.
But Parolin also didn't forget the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Palestine, where "all humanitarian operations are useful if they can help resolve humanitarian crises." He was referring to the Global Sumud Flotilla, the humanitarian mission to help the people of Gaza that will depart at dawn tomorrow morning.
