Khalid Alotaibi, 33, was leaving for Riyadh
A man was arrested in Paris, accused of being part of the commando that killed journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi embassy in Istanbul.
The agents stopped him at the Parisian Roissy airport, sources close to the dossier said.
Khalid, Alotaibi, 33, was arrested by the border police as he was preparing to board a flight to Riyadh.
Jamal Khashoggi was killed on 2 October 2018 in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, then his body was torn to pieces.
The man, who was at the airport with his ID, so he was not trying to conceal his identity, was wanted by Interpol along with 19 other Saudi officials following an arrest warrant for murder issued by Turkey.
