Attack by the Russian armed forces during the official visit of African leaders to Ukraine.

According to reports from the Kiev authorities, the delegation led by the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, and the President of Senegal, Macky Sal, was forced to take shelter in an air raid shelter in one of the hotels in the Ukrainian capital.

The comment by Kiev's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba was harsh: «Putin – he said – builds trust by launching the most massive missile attack on Kiev in weeks, right in the middle of the visit of African leaders to our capital. The missiles are a message to Africa: Russia wants more war, not peace."

Meanwhile, the Kremlin has announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin is available to "discuss" possible solutions to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine . This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, according to whom the Moscow leader "was and remains open to any contact to discuss options for resolving the Ukrainian problem".

The conflict has now been going on for 16 months and a BBC investigation has reconstructed that the number of Russian soldiers killed during the war in Ukraine is around 25 thousand, a much higher figure than the "official" figure confirmed by Moscow.

The defense minister in London, on the other hand, confirmed the killing of another Russian general in the field: Sergei Goryachev, who would have lost his life a few days ago during an attack on a command post.
