"New talks between Russia and Ukraine could take place next week". This was stated by Mykhailo Podoliak, advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by CNN, reopening the opening for a negotiation that leads to a ceasefire and a de-escalation in the conflict that is frightening the world.

"As soon as the mutual formats are established, the fourth round of negotiations will be scheduled. It could be tomorrow, the day after tomorrow," Podoliak told Belta, the Belarusian state news agency.

"There are various proposals on the negotiating table now", including "on a political solution and, above all, on a military solution. I mean a formula for a ceasefire and the withdrawal of troops," added Podoliak.

On Twitter, the adviser to the Kiev leader then updated, explaining: "Negotiations with the Russian delegation - he wrote - are now underway in a continuous video format. Special working groups have been created".

For its part, Moscow explains, through Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, quoted by Interfax: "Nobody excludes the possibility of a meeting between Putin and Zelensky, but we need to understand what to discuss in this meeting and what the result should be" .
