Michael Mosley, a well-known British doctor and TV presenter, was found dead this morning in a rocky area near the sea on the Greek island of Simi.
Mosley, 67, disappeared on Wednesday: he went out for a walk and never returned.
“The mayor of the island and a journalist from the state TV ERT were filming the area of Agia Marina when they spotted the body,” said Nikitas Grillis, deputy mayor.
A police official said Mosley was in a rocky area near the sea, denying previous reports that he had been found in a cave.
