Lebanon, rain of missiles in the night: «Almost 500 dead, 35 children»

Missiles rained down in Lebanon overnight. Israel's bombings are becoming more intense , hitting 1,600 Hezbollah targets yesterday: at least 492 dead, including 35 children, according to Beirut.

People are fleeing the south of the country, with hospitals collapsing and schools transformed into refugee camps.

And while the US says it is against a ground operation , Beijing condemns the bombings, speaking of "indiscriminate attacks against civilians".

Today the UN General Assembly, with the intervention of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
