In one of the largest attacks ever recorded on Russian soil, Ukrainian forces struck a missile and ammunition depot about 500 kilometers from the border.

This was reported by Kiev's services, while Moscow did not confirm it, speaking only of "fragments" of a drone that fell to the ground causing a fire and injuring 13 people, while local authorities ordered the evacuation of civilians from the surrounding area.

According to Ukrainian authorities, the attack, carried out with drones, hit a missile and artillery depot in the settlement of Toropets, in the Tver region, 160 kilometers northwest of Moscow.

According to Kiev, the targeted site contained missiles of the types used in the bombing of Ukraine, including Iskander and Tochka-U tactical launchers, as well as Kab air-guided bombs and artillery ammunition.

Russia, as mentioned, has not confirmed this information, but the images circulating on the main Russian Telegram channels show devastating explosions in the middle of the night and gigantic clouds of smoke that continued to rise into the sky even after sunrise, visible from kilometers away, with "tremors" also detected by seismographs.
