The Civil Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has for the first time confirmed responsibility for attacks last October and last month on the Crimean bridge. CNN obtained exclusively from the SBU the video of the July bombing in which a first drone, stuffed with 850 kg of explosives, is seen approaching the stricken pylon and a second drone heading towards the railway side of the bridge.

The head of the SBU, Vasyl Maliuk, told CNN that the July attack was carried out with experimental marine drones (the 'Sea Babies') and that others will follow. Maliuk did not provide details on the October 8, 2022 attack.

Meanwhile, a "strong" but not entirely unexpected decision is coming from India, which has invited Putin to the G20 despite calls to expel Russia from the group and has chosen not to invite Ukraine.

A formal invitee list published on the G20 website shows that 8 non-member states have been invited: Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. Spain is also expected among the non-members, as a permanent guest. It is up to the host country to decide which non-members to invite each year. Kiev had been invited to the Indonesian summit in 2022 and to the G7 in Japan earlier this year.
