Russian forces shelled Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, not far from Zaporizhzhia , last night with cruise missiles and drones , injuring several people, damaging buildings, starting fires and destroying at least 25 cars and two parked buses.

This was written by the Ukrainian agency Ukrinform.

In the locality of Hilarionivska, hit by a drone, seven people were injured and two women, aged 52 and 70, are hospitalized . A company in Dnipro was also affected. The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defenses - writes Ukrinform again - claim to have shot down 15 drones and 4 cruise missiles in the region during the night , even if some of them managed to filter through.

And the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant , in the Russian-occupied part of the territory, has once again cut off the power supply to the grid, as reported by the plant administration.

The Russians say the cause is the disruption of the high-voltage line that feeds the nuclear power plant.

The exclusion of the plant from the Ukrainian electricity grid, an operation considered dangerous as well as harmful, has become a frequent practice by the Russians whenever there is shelling in the vicinity.

The plant's emergency diesel generator started working temporarily.
