Overwhelmed by a pirate car, Luigi Villamagna, an Italian student who was in France for Erasmus, died in Paris.

The 23-year-old, who was due to return home to Abruzzo in the next few weeks, was crossing the road when a car hit him in the night between 7 and 8 June, killing him, and then fled. The driver is still wanted by the police who are viewing the video footage of the cameras and has listened to various witnesses.

The incident took place in the Clichy neighborhood.

Luigi seems not to have died immediately , if rescued he could have probably saved himself .

The tragedy traces the one of a year ago when, also in Paris, the young Italian Miriam Segato was overwhelmed by two girls who were aboard an electric scooter and even in that case they had not stopped. The 31-year-old hit her head on the sidewalk and died after three days. The investors had been identified and arrested.
