An Italian man was killed in his home in Tunisia, in Sousse. The man, a 73-year-old from the Marche region living in Italy but with a holiday property in the North African country, was attacked and his car and mobile phone were stolen, sources who knew the victim, a former Latin and Greek professor, told ANSA. The dynamics of the attack are still unclear.

The embassy in Tunis, in coordination with the Farnesina - sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs questioned on the matter underline - is following the case and is providing assistance to the family of the compatriot.
