Hezbollah today claimed responsibility for last Saturday's attack on Benjamin Neatnyahu's private residence in Caesarea .

A drone launched from Lebanon had hit the home of the Israeli prime minister and his wife, who were both outside. No injuries were reported, but the house was damaged. Netanyahu had accused Iran "of trying to kill him and his wife."

Tehran had distanced itself from the incident, today Hezbollah claimed responsibility: " The resistance claims its full and exclusive responsibility in the operation against Caesarea and in targeting the house of the war criminal and leader of the Zionist scourge ," announced Hezbollah spokesman Mohammad Afif Naboulsi in a speech quoted by the Lebanese media.

The militiamen threaten to try again: "If our hands have not reached you this time, there are days, nights and land between us and you."

Israeli media also confirmed today that the drone did indeed hit the prime minister's private residence. Military censorship, online sites explain, has only now authorized the publication of the news, so much so that the media have also published a photo showing the damage caused by the drone to the residence .
