A sixteen-year-old Palestinian boy drove his car into the Jabara (Te'enim) checkpoint near Tulkarem in the West Bank.

The young man, Muhammad Nadal Yunis of Nablus, was killed by the reaction of the security forces.

An Israeli security guard was seriously injured in the head, chest and limbs, and was taken to hospital.

The defense ministry called the attack an act of terrorism.

This is the third attack after the two in Jerusalem in recent days.
