Two other bodies were recovered from the Italian ferry that caught fire last month, off the coast of Corfu. The victims therefore rise to 11: the first nine were found in the holds of the Euroferry Olympia, the last two during the search of the ship. And there are still two missing.

The fire broke out at dawn on February 18 on the ship carrying nearly 300 people, and was put out only a week later.

Among the 281 survivors - 230 passengers and 51 crew members - were two Afghan migrants who were not on the passenger list, this circumstance raised concerns that others might have boarded without being registered.

The flames broke out after the ferry left the Greek port of Igoumenitsa for Brindisi. Investigations to determine the causes of what happened are still ongoing.
