Facebook is down, Meta's social network is down. WhatsApp and Instagram are also down.
Lots of user reports

Since this afternoon, numerous users have been reporting problems and disruptions on some of Meta's social networks. Facebook in particular has been severely slowed down or blocked, and there are also reports of users being logged out of their accounts. The web version of WhatsApp has also been experiencing disruptions.
The causes are currently unknown. Meanwhile, some sites used to report service disruptions are also down. This is the case with downdetector.
