Alarm in Brazil on the day of the inauguration of the new president Luiz Inacio Lula.
A man in possession of a knife and explosives was arrested in Brasilia by military police at the entrance to the official ceremony area.
According to local media reports, the man was intercepted thanks to the searches that are carried out on all the people participating in the celebrations.
Lula returned to power last fall, after narrowly winning the presidential election against incumbent Brazilian right-wing leader Jair Bolsonaro.
