"Launching a third party is ridiculous, it creates confusion. A third party does not work." This is how Donald Trump dismisses Elon Musk's decision to found the America Party .

The tycoon launches a harsh attack on the billionaire: " It saddens me to see him lose control and become a disaster in the last five weeks. He also wants to launch a third party that has never been successful. The current system does not provide for them."

Trump also praises the “big beautiful bill”: «It’s a great law, too bad that for Elon it eliminates subsidies for electric cars , which I opposed from the beginning. I campaigned on their abolition when Elon gave me his support. He told me there were no problems».

The US president then told an anecdote: "Elon asked me to have one of his friends run NASA. His friend was very good but he was a Democrat who had never contributed to the Republican Party. Maybe Musk was too. I thought it was inappropriate to have a friend of Musk at NASA ."

And the America Party also reignites the clash between Musk and Steve Bannon, the former controversial White House strategist. "Only a foreigner could do it: a non-American launching the America Party. He's not American: he's from South Africa," Bannon thundered during his podcast, even evoking his deportation. "He should be expelled."

Musk's response was prompt and equally harsh: "A fat, dead drunk named Bannon will go back to prison and this time for a long time. He has a life of crime to pay for." And it's not the first time the billionaire has wished Bannon would return to prison.
