Explosion in a mine, dozens of deaths in northern Turkey

There are 28 confirmed deaths, but there are several wounded hospitalized, some in serious condition. These include the 11 miners who were pulled alive by rescuers who are still digging in the rubble in search of survivors.
This is one of the most serious workplace accidents in the country .
Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said, speaking to reporters in the small coal town of Amasra on the Turkish Black Sea coast, that "in all, 110 of our brothers were working (underground). Some of them went out alone. and some of them were saved. "
Since the first reports, nearly 50 miners have been trapped in two separate areas between 300 and 350 meters underground.
