No plea deal before the Manhattan Federal Court called to decide on the judicial fate of Ghislaine Maxwell. The 59-year-old is believed to be the accomplice of pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, with whom she had an affair, who committed suicide in prison.

The trial against the woman will begin at the end of this month and before the judges she appeared tired, handcuffed and with the anklets for monitoring. "I have not committed any crime," he said.

Her lawyers denounced how their client was placed in a cold cell, with little food and no tools: "She lives in terrible conditions".

The arrest dates back to July 2020. His former partner was found hanged in prison in August 2019.
