"All of Europe is threatened by Russia, the stakes are very high." Joe Biden said this in a press conference in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron, thanking «the European allies for the work done so far and for the support given to Ukraine.
«Putin will not stop at Ukraine – the US president warned – but we will not allow this to happen». And he reiterated: «The United States stands by Ukraine. We won't leave her."
For his part, Macron paid tribute to Biden by praising the "loyalty" of what he called "a partner who loves and respects Europeans".
"From Ukraine to the Middle East, passing through what we want to relaunch on an economic level, thank you for being present on all these issues," Macron said to the American president.
