The hearing at the Sardinian TAR will take place on November 3 on the appeal presented by Volotea following the exclusion from the tender with an urgent procedure to exclusively assign the routes in territorial continuity between the airports of Alghero, Cagliari, Olbia and those of Fiumicino and Linate.

The postponement was decided after a petition presented by the party lawyers.

The Spanish low cost was excluded due to the lack of some formal requisites considered fundamental by the tender commission (specifically, they were certain documents). Shortly after, however, the other participant, Ita Airways, was equally excluded for what - in a communication to the Regional Council from the Regional Transport Councilor, Giorgio Todde - was defined as a lack of "technical requirements to participate" . And therefore Ita too had decided to resort to the TAR and the deed was filed yesterday.

For the two airlines, there are three appeals, one for each of the routes banned and then assigned to Volotea, starting from 15 October, but with a subsequent negotiated procedure.
