The Cagliari Beach Soccer women's team is champion once again. A 4-3 victory in the grand final in Lignano Sabbiadoro saw Manuel Perra's Rossoblù lift the Coppa Italia once again, as they did in 2023. Captain Veronica Privitera decided the final act, following a series of overtakings and counter-overtakings between the two teams that had finished at the top of the group (and who have faced off several times over the years for the championship and the cup in the final act).
Giulia Olivieri opened the scoring for Lady Terracina after 92 seconds, her only goal of the first half. Seven minutes into the second half, Cagliari equalized with a free kick from Fabiana Vecchione, forcing the teams to play everything in the final 12 minutes. The Rossoblu started with the lead, Vecchione lifted the ball, and Privitera scored a spectacular volley from midfield to make it 2-1 .
Massa, in about ten seconds, turned the score around once again, putting Lady Terracina back in front in the fourth minute of the third period. It looked like an uphill battle for Cagliari, but they found the resources to turn the final around once again. With 2:46 left, Baldini equalized, and 38 seconds before what would have been extra time, a right-footed shot from Privitera made it 4-3 and the cup .
