The Region files the appeal to the TAR against the Energy decree

Sardinia continues its battle for energy equalization , even in court.

The appeal to the Lazio TAR against the Energy Decree of the Draghi Government was forwarded which, according to the President of the Region Christian Solinas, "does not protect the right of Sardinians to have a definitive and structural solution to the energy problem, such as to guarantee a future suitable for the territory and the production system ".

This decree , says the President, " mortifies our energy autonomy and condemns Sardinia to endure new handicaps in addition to those suffered to date, which have resulted in a higher energy cost for us, on average 30%, compared to the rest. of the country. I had anticipated our position, and waited in vain for a corrective that did not arrive. Hence the firm decision to oppose in every place , in the interest of the Sardinians. The grounds for appeal are clear and solid ".

“The violation of the principle of loyal collaboration - he continues - the absence of a previous agreement with the Region, which we have long and repeatedly called for, regarding structural interventions that affect the life of citizens and businesses. The violation of the principle of equality with a clear difference in treatment between Sardinian citizens and those of other Regions: in fact, a service that is unjustly differentiated between the different geographical areas of the island and with differentiated rates is proposed. The decree expresses a violation of the principle of insularity, today, solemnly sanctioned by the final vote of Parliament on the constitutional amendment ".
