«No step backwards as mistakenly assumed by some media, but the awareness of a project shared with the entire center-right which has brought excellent results at a national and regional level».

Thus, in a note issued by the press office, the League reiterates its support for the re-nomination of Christian Solinas as President of the Region for the centre-right.

There is no air of recomposition, therefore, after the coalition table focused on the mayor of Cagliari, Paolo Truzzu, at the end of the river meeting in Palazzo Tirso.

«For us it is always useful to confirm an outgoing mayor and an outgoing governor who have done well, as in Abruzzo and Piedmont», the leader of the League, Matteo Salvini, said this morning, «dividing the center-right would be a mistake, because thus the left, which means more landings and priority for things like electric cars."

Yesterday Truzzu held the first meeting (absent Lega and Psd'Az) to organize the electoral campaign. Shortly before he had said: "Yes, I feel like the center-right candidate in Sardinia."

After the note from the Northern League, the position of the deputy secretary of the League, Andrea Crippa, also arrived, who reiterated: «For us, the candidate for the presidency of the Sardinia region remains Christian Solinas. As are the other leavers: Cirio in Piedmont, Bardi in Basilicata and Marsilio in Abruzzo."

At the regional table, Crippa recalled, «there were civic lists which all together had much fewer votes than the Lega and the Sardi d'Azione Party, one is not always worth one. Rotondi's DC cannot be as good as the League. This story of the regional table that Paolo Truzzu supposedly chose is tiring, one cannot be worth one."
