The 2022 financial maneuver was published in Buras, the official Bulletin of the Region which allows knowledge of the laws, regulations and acts of the State of regional interest.

The President of the Region Christian Solinas speaks of one of the main measures: "Winning the battle against depopulation, in favor of local development, is one of the most important objectives that we have been pursuing since the beginning of the Legislature, now also declined in one of the main lines action in the maneuver. For the first time real and certain resources necessary for Sardinia to be able to fight the depopulation of the territories and isolation with force and determination ".

"In the maneuver to which we are now concretely giving legs there is no welfare - he added - there is a strong and determined will to intervene to reverse the negative trends that characterize the social and economic development of Sardinia".

Among the measures envisaged there are contributions for families who reside or transfer their residence in municipalities up to 3 thousand inhabitants and a birth bonus that reaches up to 600 euros per month for each child born from 2022 onwards until the age of five. . In order to combat depopulation, there is the non-repayable grant of up to 15 thousand euros for the renovation of a first home intended for those who reside or transfer their residence in municipalities of less than 3 thousand inhabitants.

"Thanks to strong and decisive support for families and an advantageous tax system that affects the economic sphere of those who work in disadvantaged territories, we concretely lay the foundations to fight the depopulation of the territories, the number one enemy of our island - added the councilor for programming and the budget, Giuseppe Fasolino - Today we can think of a rebirth of small municipalities because we give families and businesses the opportunity to fully experience those territorial realities that risk dying due to the aging of the population and exodus of young people ".

Those who decide to open a business in the weaker territories will be able to count on a contribution of up to 20 thousand euros (contribution of 15 thousand for a new opening, which reaches up to 20 thousand in the case of new hires). The tax credit is foreseen for old and new activities that operate in those municipalities (also in this case the contribution is subject to an increase in the case of a new employee hired).
