This morning shortly after sunrise, the light from our star gave a rare spectacle, what is commonly called the "Sundogs".

Two bright, colorful arcs appeared on either side of the Sun as it emerged from a thick bank of clouds.
The rare phenomenon, called parhelion, occurs when sunlight passes through ice crystals that can form in the high atmosphere.

Two bright arcs form to the left and right of the Sun at a distance of about 22 degrees and show the colors that make up sunlight.
Sundogs are most common when cold weather brings ice crystals into the atmosphere, however, they can appear anywhere in the world whenever there are cirrus clouds.

Today the Sun gave us one of the shows that are created by the interaction of light with our atmosphere , many were able to admire it with the naked eye and immortalized it by photographing it with their smartphone.
