“Wind turbines are a horror”.

Vittorio Sgarbi , the new Undersecretary of Culture of the Meloni Government, said this to Sky Tg24 microphones.

An assist in the battle that several Sardinian mayors are waging against the installation of mega plants for the production of energy from the wind in the seas (and beyond) of Sardinia .

"The landscape must be preserved", said the undersecretary, claiming his being "conservative" in the name of defending the territory.

It is not the first time that Sgarbi has taken a stand against wind farms, even those involving Sardinia.

Also in another recent appearance on TV, in Stasera Italia on Rete 4, touching on the topic of alternative energies, Sgarbi explained: "Elon Musk, with whom I spoke some time ago, invented photovoltaic tiles, therefore from the ministry we can indicate that those tiles can be replaced in many buildings, even theoretically historical, therefore putting those that work. But destroying everything, destroying the landscape is a crime that will have to be hit. In large part, the force of the mafia, in Sicily, Calabria and Puglia the landscape has already been shaken forever, with the blades still. This is the tragedy that this government must evaluate in objective terms ''.
