Scanu and the tumor: "They removed half my lung, I told dad it was a scar"

Thus Valerio Scanu , during an episode of "Today is another day on Rai1", spoke of the tumor for which he was operated on in June 2020: " We have always called him the little tumor , even my doctor called him that".
At that time, the singer from La Maddalena revealed, «I was alone, I shielded my family a little by minimizing it, because I didn't want anyone to come and assist me, a little because I wanted to be a hero. I told my father it was a scar, I minimized it ».
A touching confession that of the winner of the Sanremo Festival 2010: «It was something not even two centimeters so that the histological examination could not be done, given that it was very central, and doing a needle aspiration could do more damage than completely remove the part. When they discovered that it was an adenocarcinoma, therefore malignant , I underwent surgery in June, then they eliminated all the lymph nodes and we waited a couple of weeks to understand if I needed to undergo additional therapy".
A few days ago Scanu came out and asked for the hand of his partner Luigi Calcara , the video was shared on social media: " If Luigi had been there at that moment, he would have been close to me ".
