With the off-road vehicle on the dunes of Torre dei Corsari: it crashes, gets covered up in sand and the fine is triggered

The unhealthy – and contrary to the law – idea of driving an off-road vehicle over the dunes of Torre dei Corsari, in the Arbus area, will cost dearly to a mechanic from Guspini: he lost control, the vehicle got covered up and the carabinieri.

For the forty-four-year-old man already known to the police, a sanction was triggered for having violated the "prohibition of occupation, parking and trampling on the dunes and related vegetation", provided for by the seaside ordinance of the Region, issued in 2021. He will have to shell out 200 euros.

But the expenses are not finished, they let the Arma know. The uncivilized will also have to pay for a tow truck. And given that the off-road vehicle ended up in a difficult to reach point, the recovery of the vehicle does not appear to be too easy.
